Just read in the Madeira Press that the
2014 Opening of the QUINTA DO ARCO de São Jorge ROSE GARDEN will be on the 3rd May, at 5pm with a with a concert by the Ecomusicalis Group.
We recommend visiting the Garden which has a collection of over 1780 different species and varieties of roses , ancient and modern , a total of 17,000 rose bushes. The Garden won a World Federation of Rose Societies’ Prize in 2011!
