Beginning of carnival music, illuminations and decorations in the city centre of
Funchal

3pm – 6pm – Face Painting Workshop – Largo da Restauração
3pm – 6:30pm – Carnival entertainment by the students of Escola Prossional
Atlântico (EPA)
3pm – 8pm – Performances by philharmonic bands

27th February, Thursday

10:30am – Noon – Children’s Carnival Parade and Festival – presented and with the
participation by the students of EPA
2:30pm – 5:30pm – Solidarity Carnival – Parade on the central walkways of Avenida
Arriaga and entertainment at the Auditorium of the Municipal Garden, organized by
the Funchal Community Development Association
3pm – 6pm -Face Painting Workshop – Largo da Restauração
3:30pm – 6:30pm – Carnival entertainment by the students of EPA
9pm – 9:45pm – “Latin Show” by Sport Dance Club – Prestige Dance
